CAPACETE is a new one-year residency programme in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, for up to 12 international participants dedicated to research and practice in the arts and critical thought. It will start its first edition in March 2015. The deadline for applications for the pre-selection is 31st of April 2014. The application process is exclusively online.
12 participants will be selected to the programme. The aim is to reserve, four positions for Brazilian, four for South-American and four positions for participants from other countries. The duration of the programme is ten months, from the 1st of March to the 20th December with a one-month-break in July.
CAPACETE has its own infrastructure, a house located in the neighbourhood of Glória, Rio de Janeiro, consisting of apartments, a library, exhibition space, lecture and multi-purpose rooms and a garden.
