Frame participates a Baltic-Nordic network with CCA and OCA

Frame is partnering with Nordic art institutions Center For Contemporary Arts, Estonia (CCA) and OCA Norway in a new collaboration project. The aim of the partnership is to strengthen collaboration between the three contemporary art organisations by visiting each other, sharing information and exploring different Nordic and Baltic art scenes. The programme is financed by KulturKontakt Nord and organized by CCA Estonia.

From 2nd to 7th of May 2016 six curators, including Frame Finland’s programme coordinator Anna Virtanen, founder of Alkovi gallery Miina Hujala, intendant of Tromsø Kunstforening Leif Magne Tangen, Athens based curator Gabriel Mestre Arrioja, Helsinki based artist Giovanna Esposito Yussif and contemporary art curator of Trondheim museum Randi Thommessen, participated a research trip in Tallinn. Next meetings will take place in Helsinki, Oslo and Bergen Assembly later in 2016.
